The Mid Tipp town lost its urban council as part of Local Government Reform in 2014.
A number of projects addressing flooding and the revamp of the town hall have not progressed in recent months which has led to severe criticism from some local representatives.

Independent councillor Eddie Moran raised the issue at the district's June meeting.
He says his area has been left go.
