Council criticised for stance on Tipperary rail services

Three local election candidates have questioned what they call the council’s attack on rail services in Tipperary.

The March4Tipp group are concerned that the council is questioning the viability of the services without looking at the broader picture.

They say that travelling by rail would go a long way towards reducing out carbon footprint.

March4Tipp’s Anne Marie Ryan says there are also other ways to look at utilising the service properly.
