Cost of college causes anxiety

The Union of Students in Ireland have released results of a survey which show 95 per-cent think the cost of a college course is too high at 11-thousand euro per year or 33-thousand for a degree.

While 63 per-cent of students said they won't be able to attend college If the fees go up.

USI president, Kevin Donoghue, says there's an alarming percentage of students experiencing depression because of the high cost of college and is calling on the government to raise grants and reduce the registration fee.
