Don Duggan from 65 Ballinderry Park in Mayfield in Cork City…pleaded guilty to carrying out several burglaries, including robbing a car in the Thurles area on three dates in August of last year.

Judge Tom Teehan heard that Mr Duggan, who has 116 previous convictions, is currently serving a prison sentence for another crime…that is due to expire in October 2020.
Judge Teehan directed that his six year sentence, with the final three years suspended…should not begin until the expiration of his current jail term…in 4 years time.
