Birr based Fine Gael candidate Marcella Corcoran Kennedy told Fran Curry on Tipp Today that she is well aware of their concerns but says people need to look at the bigger picture.

Meanwhile, Fianna Fail candidate for the constituency Barry Cowen insists that issues raised on the doorsteps in North Tipp are just as important to him as those in Birr or Tullamore.

Speaking on Tipp Today with Fran Curry the outgoing deputy in Laois Offaly says he is very mindful of the 10 thousand or so voters in the Lower Ormond.
