Contract signing for new theatres at Nenagh General Hospitl

Work is to start next week on the construction of state of the art surgical suites at Nenagh General Hospital.

Contracts for the €2.5 million development will be signed today with Tipperary based Clancy Construction.

According to Deputy Michael Lowry the move marks the culmination of the investment package he secured for the hospital from the last Government.

However Minister of State Alan Kelly points out that it is the current Government which has actually made the necessary money available.
