Continued fall in numbers unemployed

The CSO says the seasonally adjusted rate was 9.4 per cent in September, down 0.1 per cent on the previous month.

It's also down 1.5 per cent on the same month last year.

205,300 people were out of work in September, that's down by 800 on Augusts’ figure.
