The government is looking to get back grant money from former bosses of Console.
They’ve issued letters to former company management Paul and Patricia Kelly in a bid to recoup some of the taxpayers money.

In the case of Console it was for mental health services offered to Irish people in the UK
Between 2013 and 2015 the Department of Foreign Affairs gave €150,000 in grant money to Console, now they’re looking for it back.
It’s after revelations about the spending of the Kelly’s on company credit cards.
This included buying an Audi and a Mercedes at a cost of about €90,000, a massive travel budget and large amounts of cash withdrawals.
Console’s liquidator Tom Murray is reaching the end of his work, and it’s expected his report into what went on will be published in the coming weeks or months.
It’s expected the report will outline €600,000 of spending by Console that still has question marks above it.
