Confusion over Tipperary property prices.

Two reports out this morning show a two-tier property market is emerging – with prices in Dublin beginning to increase – while house prices in the rest of the country continues to decline.

According to the Daft.ie House Price Report for the first quarter of 2013 the asking price for homes in Tipperary was 9% lower than a year previously.

Their report says the average asking price for a house in the Premier County is now €142,000 – 49% below peak levels.

Whereas MyHome.ie found that the median asking price in Tipperary is €140,000 which is down just over 2%. Their report shows a much smaller drop from peak figures at 39%
