Concerns are being raised about delays in the completion of the Greenway from Clonmel to Carrick on Suir.

The 19k walkway/cycle path is to connect the two South Tipp towns and was due to be completed in May of this year…however the project is not yet half way done.

1.9 million euro was allocated for the Greenway which includes a a hard surface cycling and walking track with grass on both sides.

Clonmel Councillor Pat English raised the issue at the recent meeting of Tipperary County Council…he says the delays are very worrying.
