Concerns raised about road surface near Kilshealan

Concerns have been raised about conditions on Seskin Road in Kilshealan following recent crashes.

Last year there were a number of traffic incidents at the spot – which led to Transport Infrastructure Ireland undertaking retexturing work.

However, in December two trucks overturned, and this month two more cars have crashed at the junction.

Flashing signs have gone up to warn oncoming traffic of danger; but issues still remain with the road surface – and the TII are currently reviewing the situation.
