Uisce Éireann is working to restore water supply as quickly as possible to Cahir Town following a burst to a trunk watermain.
Crews are on site undertaking the repair with works expected to be complete by 3pm today.

Following the repair it will take approximately three hours for normal supply to be fully restored to all areas.
In order to reduce the impact; water has been diverted to return supply to some customers.
However all customers in affected areas will experience reduced pressure or no water until approximately 6pm this evening.
