Ukrainian community in Nenagh to mark three years since Russian invasion

Locals in Nenagh are being asked to march in solidarity with the Ukrainian community next weekend.

An event will be held in the town centre on Saturday, the 22nd of February to mark the third anniversary of Russia’s invasion of their country.

They will march from Nenagh Railway Station to Banba Square where a number of speakers will address the demonstration, including some of the Ukrainians who have made Nenagh their home after fleeing the war.

Lena is from Bakmut in eastern Ukraine and says it was horrific there right from the start of the war.
