Committees around Tipperary are doing the last preparations this morning ahead of their St Patrick’s Day Parades.
The earliest start will be in Littleton where they will be marching within the hour – they start there at half past ten.
In sequence then there are events on in Cappawhite, Cahir, Templemore, Nenagh, Thurles, Tipp Town, Clonmel and Roscrea.
Cllr Andy Moloney is one of the organisers in Cahir – he says there will be loads of music to enjoy before and after their parade which starts at 12.
Cashel is one of four towns and villages that had their parades early this year along with Ballylooby, Carrick-on-Suir and Newport.
There was also a world record attempt in Cashel yesterday afternoon but they failed to get enough people wearing flat caps onto the Plaza.
Organiser Martin Browne says they’ll make a much more organised effort at securing the Guinness World Record next year.
But he says the new area for kids with sensory issues proved a great success.
