Funding for YDPs and other Youth Justice measures have increased substantially in recent years, from €18 million in 2020 to a total allocation of just over €33 million in Budget 2025.

The new junior minister in the department of Justice says he’ll be visiting Tipperary’s two Youth Diversion Projects.

There’s already a similar project running in south Tipperary.

Minister Niall Collins says he’s planning to visit the local schemes to see the important work being done to change lives.
