The Minister for Rural and Community Development says the new Library and Enterprise Centre in Templemore is a project close to her heart.
Heather Humphreys travelled to Tipperary yesterday to officially open the redeveloped Town Hall in the centre of town.
Minster Humphreys allocated €3 million for it under the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund with the County Council contributing €1 million in matched funding.
She says it’s not often a Minister gets to turn the first sod on a project and then see it through to the finish so she wanted to make sure she was the one who got to cut the ribbon.
Local Cllr Eddie Moran says it’s great to see such an important project for the town get finished.
He says it’ll be a great boost to the local community.
