Men’s Sheds in Tipperary encouraged to apply for Government funding

It’s part of €1 million allocation made available for distribution by the Irish Men’s Sheds Association to help with the running costs of local sheds.

Tipperary Fine Gael Deputy Michael Murphy says the work of Men’s Sheds deserves to be recognised.

“We all know the positive impact that Men’s Sheds have on our communities and I’m delighted now to see that they can apply for funding. Men’s Sheds across Tipperary can receive grants of up to €3,000 to help them with their running costs such as heating, utility and insurance bills.

“Men’s Sheds have become central to so many communities across Tipperary. They’ve created a space to socialise, share skills and work together on meaningful projects.

“I want to encourage all eligible Men’s Sheds to apply – its very clear to me the great benefit they provide.”
