A large crowd has gathered outside Dundrum house this morning and a number of roads in the area have been closed as the first group of International Protection Applicants are due to be placed there today.
As the Dundrum protest enters its 77th day today could be the most pivotal.
Approximately 70 people have gathered outside the gates of Dundrum House this morning following confirmation that a number of International Protection Applicants will arrive here at some stage today.
The hotel is being used to house Ukrainian refugees with 277 being housed – but in late May it was announced the hotel would now become a dual purpose building meaning it would house IPA’s as well as Ukrainians.
It was announced that 70 Ukrainians would leave to make way for IPA’s.
A number of road closures are in place around Dundrum House this morning as the first of these IPA’s is set to arrive.
