Funding for Community Centres across Tipperary welcomed

22 projects across the county have been approved under the Community Centres Investment Fund to a total of almost €400,000.

The allocations have been welcomed by Mayor of Clonmel Michael Murphy and Deputy Michael Lowry.

The Community Centres Investment Fund allows for upgrade and refurbishments works on existing community centres and sports halls.

South Tipp Fine Gael election candidate Michael Murphy has welcomed the key funding for a number centres in the south of the county.

“In particular Burncourt, Cloneen, Duhill, Dundrum, Kilfeacle, Kilsheelan and Newcastle. These monies will provide for the improvement and refurbishment of existing facilities in these seven community centres.”
