Uisce Eireann says repairs were slow across the county due to the conditions and the power cuts affecting treatment plants.

Tipperary was the worst hit county in the country with nearly half of the all the people affected nationwide were in the Premier county.

Operations Lead Colin Cunningham says it’s because some of their biggest plants were hit.
