Following the tragic death of 18 year old Bronagh English in a car crash last week Clonmel based C-SAW will be open for extended hours over the coming days.
The Rockwell College Leaving Cert student lost her life when her car went into the Aherlow River in Kilmoyler on Thursday night.
Bronagh will lie in repose at her home in Anner Park House in Clonmel from 2pm to 7pm today – her Funeral Mass will take place at 12 noon tomorrow in St John the Baptist Church, Powerstown.
Listening and support service C-SAW on William Street in Clonmel will be open from 6pm to 9pm this evening and tomorrow evening.
Founder Joe Leahy says their doors will be open for anyone to drop in.
“Some people have people to talk to while incredibly others don’t have anybody to talk to. Some people think they can’t talk to people and some people think that nobody will listen to them. Some people think that what I’m going to say is stupid and they won’t understand me.
“So we’re there for everybody – regardless of the tragedy – we’re there to help people through these difficult times. The mind can be weighed down with buckets of trouble – that’s why we’re there at these particular times. So anybody is welcome.”
