Customers supplied by both the Horse and Jockey Public Water Supply and the Carrick-on-Suir (Linguan) Public Water Supply are being reminded that the Boil Water Notices issued earlier this month will remain in place for both supplies until further notice.

Uisce Éireann is carrying out works to address the issues at both treatment plants to enable the lifting of the notice as quickly and as safely as possible.

While Uisce Éireann is working to rectify the issues at both treatment plants, customers on each of the supplies are advised to continue to boil their water before use until further notice.

Customers are reminded that the water is safe to consume once boiled.
