The 'Building A Health Service for 21st Century Ireland' conference is being hosted in Limerick today by Labour MEP Phil Prendergast.
It'll be attended by medical experts and the Junior Health Minister Alex White.
They'll be discussing ways to bring Ireland's health service up to international standards.
Clonmel based Phil Prendergast says the HSE still suffers a number of problems – including a lack of hospital beds.
