Clonmel gardai warn of scam involving security cameras

Gardai in Clonmel are appealing to  people in rural areas  not to buy security cameras  from people pretending to be traders.
A group of people are currenty offering these so-called security cameras for sale  around the county.
Gardai say this equipment is worthless.
They are urging home owners to contact their local garda station if they are offered the equipment.
They're also appealing to people to take notice of the type of vechile used by these con-men and hand on the registration to gardai if possible.
