John Walsh from Clonmel decided to upgrade his Toyota Yaris to a new electric car.
As an early 101st birthday present he bought himself a Nissan Leaf.

Among the road trips on the agenda for John are visits to Mount Mellary, Holy Cross and Dungarvan.
He also plans a trip to Foynes in County Limerick where he grew up and first sat behind the wheel of his father's Model-T Ford.
