Classrooms to replace prefabs at Clonmel School

Plans to significantly upgrade facilities at a South Tipperary National School have taken a major step forward.

The Education Minister has confirmed that Powerstown National School is set to get a mainstream classroom and Special Needs Facility as part of the latest phase of the Prefab Replacement Scheme.

15 million Euro in grants has been allocated to 46 schools nationwide including Powerstown  to replace temporary and costly structures with state of the art solid buildings.
