Christmas swims to get underway across the county

A number of traditional swims are taking place in Tipperary and across the country today and tomorrow.

Among them is the annual Christmas Day Swim in Templemore which raises funds for North Tipperary Hospice

Tomorrow, St Stephan's Day, there's the charity swim in the River Suir at Holycross in aid of St Michael's school in the village.

Now in its 27th year, the event gets underway at 3 pm.
