Local TD Mattie McGrath had stated that 25 of the workforce were going to be made redundant in the New Year.
In a statement to Tipp FM News this lunchtime C&C say no redundancies have been announced or are planned at Bulmers.
The company admits that it's in ongoing discussions with employees and unions regarding the alignment of employee’s hours with seasonal demands.
C&C say there may be temporary seasonal lay-offs in the quieter period from January to February.
The cider manufacturer was one of Tipperary's main employers in the past with upwards of 600 staff though in recent years this has fallen to less than 200.
Independent TD Mattie McGrath had criticised C&C today for what he said were the involuntary redundancies to be implemented early in January.
Union representatives from the Bulmers plant in Clonmel are due to meet this evening to discuss the situation.
C&C say they are committed to the Bulmers site in Clonmel have recently made a significant investment in a new craft brewery at the plant.
The company has also pointed out that employees have recently been awarded a 2% pay rise.
