Caution advised on the roads of Tipperary.

Motorists are advised to drive with care due to dense fog and sub zero temperatures in places this morning.

Gardai in Thurles say roads in the area are treacherous while particular caution is also advised on the M8 and N24 where fog is making for poor driving conditions.

Met Éireann has issued a 'status yellow' fog warning for Leinster, Cavan and Monaghan.
