Tipperary motorists are being urged to take extreme caution on the roads heading into the cold snap.
It’s been a bad weekend on the roads with 2 fatalities, including one in Waterford, a few kilometres from Carrick on Suir, and in Laois.

8 other people were injured in separate crashes across the country.
Snow showers are expected from Tuesday onwards – particularly in the east and southeast – with the possibility of more persistent bands of snow developing later in the week.
