Carrick on Suir “Ambassadors” help visitors

Staff at a number of businesses in Carrick on Suir are now acting as ambassadors for the area.

In conjunction with South Tipperary VEC the Carrick on Suir Business Association set up a Cultural and Heritage Studies Programme as a pilot project.

This allowed people working in the area to undertake a course to learn about the many attractions Carrick and its environs has to offer.

COSBA Chairman Seamus Campbell says they are now putting their knowledge to good use by giving information to visitors to the town.
