Carrick-on-Suir councillors appeal for community building not to be sold

Councillors from the Carrick-on-Suir Municipal District will be writing to the Bishop of Waterford and Lismore to appeal for an important community building not to be sold.

St Nicholas’ Parish have put the Parish Hall up for sale and councillors are wanting to have it taken off the market.

The hall serves a wider community purpose and is home to the boxing club, ICA and karate club.
