Locals in Cappawhite are a step closer to having an inclusive playground in the village.
The facility which will be located on GAA donated land, will cost in the region of 150,000 euro – 80,000 of which has been granted through the LEADER scheme, while 25,000 has been raised by locals themselves.
Additional funding has been applied for by the committee to make up the shortfall, with work to begin shortly.
