Campaign for lower speed limits in housing estates.

The mother of a boy who died when he was knocked down by a car metres from his home, is continuing with a sleep-out outside the Dáil.

Roseanne Brennan is staging the demonstration as part of her campaign to have legislation introduced reducing speed limits in housing estates to 20 kilometres per hour.

The action was prompted by the death of her 6 year old son, Jake, who died last June.

But Roseanne Brennan says this isn't just about her son, she's doing it for the safety all children.
