Calls for tax reforms in wake of Panama Papers

The call comes after millions of files from the so-called Panama Papers were published online last night.

The searchable data-base contains the names of hundreds of off-shore firms with addresses in Ireland, or with Irish links.

They're among 200-thousand companies, trusts and funds that are being used to keep money in tax havens.
 
Oxfam Ireland Chief Executive Jim Clarken says the latest revelations are just the first step towards ending tax evasion.
