Calls for Irish Water to deal with Tipp sewage problems

There are calls for Irish Water to extend their first fix policy to sewage problems being experienced by some residents in Carrick on Suir.

The utility has undertaken to carry out the first repair for any problems experienced with the water supply going into people's homes.

However Sinn Fein Councillor David Dunne says this is not extended to problems with sewage despite the fact that people on a public sewer have to pay more than those on a private septic tank.
