The issue was raised at this month's meeting of the Nenagh Municipal District where local representative Mattie Coole Ryan called for the support of his fellow councillors in having those concerns addressed.
There was called for a mobile flashing speed sign to be erected in the Silvermines area to remind drivers to slow down.
