Call for new approach to tackle homelessness.

There's a call for a network of Restorative Practice Centres across the country which could help tackle homelessness.

Homelessness campaigner Fr Peter McVerry is launching two reports today on how to implement them in the community.

Chairperson of the Restorative Practices Strategic Forum, Marian Quinn says they are longer term measures, but could be applied to the homeless crisis.

She says there’s clearly an immediate urgency while the restorative practice is a more medium term aimed at working with parents and teachers.
