Cahir will be a hive of activity today as it plays host to Tractors in Lights later.
Among the many highlights will be the arrival of the Garda Tractor complete with its ‘Blues & Twos’
Santa will also be in town where he will switch on the Christmas Lights at 6pm in The Square.
Local Councillor Andy Moloney outlines the plans for the evening.
“It will be preceded by the tractor run, and the tractors will meet in the mart, and they will leave the mart at 5.45.”

“The Garda tractor will be in attendance, and this is near the South tipp hospice.”
“The kids’ tractors will leave the car park at 5.45, This is led by the two johnnies and this is free for all the kids to dress up their tractors, our trikes, our bikes, and so forth.”
“But the main tractor run as well also is vintage, as well as trikes and bikes as well.”
