A Dragons' Den star has become the first donor to a new scheme where homeowners can help the homeless.
Businessman Barry O'Sullivan is selling his house on the Aran Islands and donating the proceeds to two charities – through the “Home from Home” campaign.

Under the deal every €20 thousand received can be leveraged to buy or repair a property through Government borrowing.
The sale of Barry's 6-bed house is expected to deliver homes for at least 15 families, depending how much it makes at auction.
