A new initiative to promote Ireland's new business sector around the world, is being launched later today.

People with business plans are being asked to submit their project ideas as part of the 'Start-up Gathering'.

Events featuring 5 industries, will take place in 5 cities, over 5 days in October of this year.

The Jobs Minister Richard Bruton, and the Minister of State Ged Nash will announce more details about the strategy in Dublin this afternoon.
