Ronan refused permission for Dublin development

Tipperary native Johnny Ronan has four weeks to appeal a decision to reject plans for what would have been Dublin’s tallest building.

Dublin City Council have said ‘no’ to the Carrick on Suir businessman Johnny Ronan’s proposed 22 storey ‘tower’ – across the River Liffey from Liberty Hall.

It claimed it would be out of place alongside the capital’s historical buildings.
