A new one-stop-shop for business queries on supports and grants will be a fantastic new tool for businesses of all sizes in Tipperary according to Fine Gael Senator Garret Ahearn.

The National Enterprise Hub aims to gather over 180 government supports from 19 different departments and agencies into one single source for the first time.

Senator Ahearn says this will make it much easier for businesses in Tipperary to search and access resources in terms of grants and practical supports from government.

“When I speak to businesses in Tipperary one of the things that always comes back it takes so much time to apply for grants. There’s so much you have to do, so much detail you need to find out to see even if you qualify. And a lot of the time its where do you go to get that information.

“So what this is essentially is to make it as easy as possible to ring one single place regardless of what grant or support they’re looking for.”

The National Enterprise Hub already has 25,000 active users across the country with 90% of businesses interacting with a government agency for the first time.

The National Enterprise Hub is on neh.gov.ie or 01 727 2100.
