Bus Eireann under fire for lack of facilities for the disabled

Bus Eireann has come under fire for a lack of wheelchair facilities on their buses, despite a Government commitment for 100% accessibility for the fleet by 2015….instead, the figure will reach 60%. 

The public transport provider requests that wheelchair users planning to travel on their service to contact their local bus station 24 hours prior to their trip.
