Bugler elected unopposed

Councillor Phyll Bugler has been elected Cathaoirleach of Tipperary County Council.

The Ballina based Fine Gael representative was elected unopposed at today’s AGM of the local authority.

She takes over from Fianna Fail’s Siobhan Ambrose.

Tipp FM’s Domhnall Doyle spoke to Councillor Bugler.


Fianna Fail’s Roger Kennedy was elected Leas Cathaoirleach in the same week as he finished his term as Cathaoirleach of the Cashel-Tipperary Municipal District.

Councillor Kennedy is offering his congratulations and support to Councillor Bugler.
