Boris Johnson won’t challenge May in leadership bid

British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson says suggestions he’s preparing to challenge the prime minister with a leadership bid are ‘tripe’.

He insists he’s backing Theresa May.

She parted company with her two chiefs of staff yesterday.

Joey Jones, former adviser to Mrs May, who thinks she won’t cling on to power for long.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Corbyn says he can still be British Prime Minister, and intends to oppose the Queen’s Speech to help bring down Theresa May.

Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, the Labour leader’s set out his plans to take advantage of Mrs May’s vulnerability.

He says there’s a possibility of voting the Tories’ plan for government down when it’s raised in the House of Commons.
