A Boil Water Notice remains in place for 12-hundred local homes and business in the Rathcabbin area this weekend.
It was put in place on Monday due to increase turbidity in the supply and Uisce Eireann says they hope it can be lifted next week.

A Boil Water notice that had been in effect on the Crotty’s Lake Supply in Carrick-on-suir since last November was lifted yesterday for 2-thousand local households, farms and businesses.
Uisce Eireann’s Jim Fitzgerald says they will remove the Rathcabbin notice as soon as it’s safe
“We are working to lift that and we will communicate it to our customers and the HSE as soon as we are able to.
