Body found in Nenagh

The body of the man in his mid 40's was found at a recycling plant shortly before 10am

It's understood the man's body was in a wheelie bin and ended up at the AES Recycling Centre at Springford Cross, on the outskirts of the North Tipp town where it was discovered just before 10am this morning.

It's understood staff at the plant found the body when they arrived for work…Nenagh Gardaí were called and they preserved the scene for further examination. 

The man, who is believed to be in his mid 40's has not yet been identified. 

The body was taken to the University Hospital in Limerick where a post mortem examination is being carried out this evening. 

The scene remains sealed off this evening and Nenagh Gardaí are appealing for information.
