Bishop of Killaloe happy with appointment reaction

The newly ordained Bishop of Killaloe says he's been reassured by the reaction of people in the diocese to his appointment. 

Fintan Monaghan took up the mantle of Bishop at a ceremony in Ennis Cathedral yesterday…included in his area are 13 parishes in North Tipperary

The 49 year old is the youngest serving Bishop in Ireland….and says some of his main focus will be on young people, those with disabilities and bringing more people into the church. 

The Tullamore native says he was worried about his appointment initially, but the reaction of the people has left him feeling more positive.
