The BBC presenter Vanessa Feltz has described a column on the gender pay gap by Kevin Myers as blatant racism.
The Sunday Times has sacked Myers with the newspaper saying he won’t write again for its Irish outlet.

The Guardian’s Roy Greenslade says while commentators are hired for their opinions – Myers went too far this time.
